Welcome Baby

Good morning everyone! I hope you’re having a great Saturday. It’s been a long week of sneak peeks for Honey Bee, but I hope you’re not sick of it, because I am back with another card!

I’ve got all the details on how I made this card and what I used to make it on their blog! It was a very simple card t make, and so relaxing! I hope you all get some crafting time today! Thanks for stopping by!

Honey Bee Release Full Reveal!

Happy Friday! I’m back to share a full reveal of my projects as well as the stamp sets that are being released this month! Since I have so many photos to share, I am going to jump right in.

First up is the Celebration Box set…

This is such a fun party set, and after seeing the cards the other design team members made using this I’m itching to get crafty with it again! The matching die set is awesome as well, because it cuts out the box so that you can tuck things in side, and you can die cut the box flaps!

Next is the Welcome Baby set…

This set has all the pieces to set the scene for an adorable baby card! Plus the cat and dog images pair well with the next two sets! And for some reason I’m just smitten with the bear and the duck! They are so sweet and perfect little stuffed animals.

Next is Playful Pups

This set is SO sweet. I love all the little puppies and their cute poses. Personally, the one in the bottom right corner is my absolute fave, but they’re all so cute! As you may have noticed, this set is also complete with images that will round out a great scene for these pups.

And finally Curious Kitties

This is, of course, my absolute favorite from the release because I just love cats. Just like the dog set it has so many elements to it. There are quite a few people I know who will be getting kitten themed cards in the near future!

All of these sets have coordinating dies too! There’s one more awesome stamp set that I didn’t have a card for due to some mailing issues, but the set is so fun I want to share it anyways.

This super jumbo set has tons of sentiments that go along with tons of the sets in this release. There are also some great dies to go along with this set, which you should definitely check out on the Honey Bee site! Alright. That’s it for me today! I hope you enjoyed seeing the release up close and personal! What will you be picking up from this release?!

I hope you all have a great weekend, and I’ll see you again soon with another card!

Honey Bee Release-Day 4!

Welcome back! It’s the final day of Honey Bee release sneak peeks! Today I’m sharing a card made using the Curious Kitties stamp set. This is another adorable stamp set that features lots of little furry friends, except this time it’s got kittens!

I stamped one of the kittens from this set four times on some Bristol Smooth card stock and colored them in in different patterns. I love coloring in kittens. They have such unique fur patterns, it’s really fun because you can’t really go wrong! I ink blended some Distress Ink onto the background panel and added water splatter to give it more texture and interest.

To water color the cats I also used Distress Ink. I took a sentiment from an older Honey Bee set an attached it with some foam tape below the kittens. I added a white heat embossed paw just to the side of the sentiment as well! That finishes off this card for today! Tomorrow I’m wrapping up my release projects and there will be more fun projects on the HB blog! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Honey Bee Release Week-Day 3!

Good morning and welcome back for Day 3 of the Honey Bee release sneaks! Today’s stamp set is one of my faves from the release this month. It’s called Playful Pups and it’s got tons of cute little pups featured in the set. Here’s the card I came up with…

I stamped and colored in two of the dogs from the set with my Copics. These little guys are sooo sweet and I love that you can make them look like any furry friends you may know! I made a little scene in the background that was also a shaker.

I also die cut the ‘hi’ from the Hello Gorgeous words die set. This pairs with a stamp set, but is perfect on it’s own as well. I added some little toys for the pups to play with from the set, and that was it! My card was finished! Be sure to head over to the Honey Bee blog for a sneak peek from another designer-and check out the other design team members sneaks as well! Tomorrow I’ll have the final sneak for you! Thanks for stopping by!

Honey Bee Release Week-Day 2!

Good morning, all, and welcome back to Honey Bee release week! Today I’m sneaking a card I made using the set Welcome Baby. This is the perfect set for anyone expecting. It’s got lots of cute images, and you could do so many things with it!

I made this card by ink blending a spotlight onto the base of a stitched rectangle. I stamped the little baby on some Neenah Solar White card stock and colored her in with my Copics. I even gave her some cute little pig tails! How sweet is that!? There is a cute mobile image with stars that I stamped above where I attached the baby with foam tape. The strings weren’t long enough to reach where I wanted them to so I used a ruler and extended them to the stitched detail at the top of the rectangle.

I added a couple cute little toys at her feet, and a die cut sentiment that’s a bit of a sneak peek as well! I added some white gel pen dots in the yellow high light.

That’s it for my card today! I hope you enjoyed it 🙂 Be sure to head over to the Honey Bee blog to see more sneaks and check out the design team’s social media to get even more project sneaks! Thanks for stopping by, I’ll see you again with anther card.

Honey Bee Release Week–Day 1!

Good morning everyone! I hope you’re all having a great start to your week. Today I’ve got a fun card to share with you using one of the awesome new sets from Honey Bee Stamp’s new release. Today’s set is called Celebration Box, and it’s going to be so perfect for any kind of birthday card-but really it is so versatile! Let’s look at the card I made using it…

This adorable box has tissue paper and balloons popping out of it! It’s perfect for any type of celebration. I could image changing the colors to fit Valentine’s Day, which would be adorable! I used my craft knife to slice open the inside of the box and stick the tissue paper in there so it looked more realistic.

As you can see I also added a sentiment from Special Delivery to finish off the card. I love this set. I can’t wait to make some fun birthday cards and stock up for the busy birthday months I have coming up. Be sure to stop over at the Honey Bee blog to see more sneak peek projects!! All of the design team have come up with some fun creations using this set. Thanks so much for stopping by! I’ll see you tomorrow for Day 2!

YNS Critters

Good morning, everyone! I’m doing double duty today and I’ve got a couple cards to share with you. The first one is for Your Next Stamp! We’re working with some of the adorable critter sets YNS has. The one I’m using today is called Smiley Happy Critter Crew Set One. Let’s look at the card!

I started by stamping the ladybugs with VeraMark Onxy Black ink. Then I heat embossed clear embossing powder over them. After I did that I took a waterproof marker and added a balloon tail to each of them so that they looked like ballons. I embossed them because I wanted to use my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and I didn’t want the colors to bleed at all. I picked a couple fun colors and used a water brush to apply the Zig markers to them. I die cut a stitched rectangle from Neenah Solor White card stock and ink blended Peacock Feathers onto it. I splattered some water on this to add a little texture and interest to the panel.

I die cut the Stitched Line Die to be the string of the balloons. I also stamped, colored and cut some of the butterflies from the set and put them as if they were flying around the balloons. For the sentiment I stamped and heat embossed the “happy” from the Cool Tag Banner Sentiments set. I wanted it to be small, since the “birthday” from Scripty Workds die set was so big. I die cut that from white card stock as well as gray. I layered the white on the bottom when I glued them together so that it had a little bit of a shadow that defined it.

To finish the card I added some Crystal Clear Gumdrops and attached the panel to a card base. I hope you enjoyed this card! Thanks so much for stopping by! I’ll see you again soon with another card 🙂
