Heffy Doodle Thermoweb Collab!

Hello, everyone! It’s Cassie here, and I’m sharing my card for the Thermoweb/Heffy Doodle collab. The projects this week have been so fun, and I can’t wait to share mine with you. There are so many gorgeous products on the Thermoweb site that I had a hard time narrowing it down, but I knew I had to use the amazing Glitter Gels. I used the Gold Glitter Gel with the Heffy Doodle with the Starfall Stencil on some of the Bubblegum cardstock from Thermoweb.

Before using the Glitter Gel I sprayed the card stock with some of the Glitter Dust glitter spray over the surface. It added the most beautiful shimmer to the card stock. You can even see it in the photos! Next I die cut one of the circles from the Stitched Circle die set and stamped a lion from Ad-roar-able Lions on it. I used my copics to color it in and added a crown 🙂

Next I stamped the Whatcha Sayin’ speech bubble with a sentiment in it and die cut it out. To make sure the dies didn’t shift when I ran them through I used the purple tape you see in the photo. It was great for holding the die to the paper, but didn’t rip the paper when I removed it!

And that is it for my card today! Be sure to check out the Thermoweb blog and see their teams awesome projects! Thanks so much for stopping by, and I’ll see you again soon with another card!

Thanks Card

Hi, everyone! It’s Cassie here from Creatively Cass, and I’m happy to be back on the Butterfly Reflections Ink blog sharing a card with you today! Lately I’ve been needing an abundance of thank you cards, so for today’s post I decided to make one using some products I’ve been itching to use. Let’s jump right in.

I started by cutting down some 110 lb white card stock to be 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 for an A2 card. Then I used the adorable Newton’s Nook stencil Bold Blooms with my Distress Oxide colors Worn Lipstick and Tattered Rose to get this beautiful floral background.

Next, I die cut the Big Thanks die from some 110 lb white card stock. I wanted to make sure it popped on the busy background, so I went ahead and heat embossed some gold embossing powder after stamping with the Big Thanks stamp set on the letters.

To finish the card i attached the thanks die with foam tape and it as complete! This was a super easy design, but it really packs a punch with all the beautiful elements. I hope you enjoyed the card for today, and I’ll see you again soon with another one!

Your Next Stamp Challenge

Hi everyone! I’m popping in today to share a card I made for the new Your Next Stamp challenge. The new theme is “ombre” and I couldn’t wait to get crafty with this in mind 🙂

I used the new Butterfly Panel die over a piece of card stock that I had ink blended Seedless Preserves Distress Oxide over to create my ombre. I heat embossed a sentiment and used foam tape to adhere it. And my card was complete! I hope you enjoyed my creation for today. Be sure to stop over to the Your Next Stamp blog and join us for the new challenge!

Big Bug Hugs

Hello, everyone! Welcome back to the blog.  I’m back to share a card with you using some cute Heffy Doodle stamps and some easy heat embossing. Let’s jump in!

I started by cutting down a piece of pink card stock to A2 size. Then I took the Big Bug Hugs stamp set and stamped the lady bug all over the panel using VersaMark ink. I heat embossed white embossing powder over them and added some white gel pen dots for some fun interest.

Next I stamped out a couple of the sentiments from the set onto black paper with the same VersaMark ink and white embossing powder. I trimmed them down and popped them onto my card with foam tape.

The last thing to do was to adhere the panel onto a card base! I hope you enjoyed my quick and easy card for today! Thanks for stopping by and I’ll see you again soon with another card!

New Your Next Stamp Challenge!

Hi, everyone! How have you been? Life’s been crazy for me, but I’m excited to pop in and share a card I made for the newest Your Next Stamp challenge today. The new theme is schools out/summer. It’s getting to that time of year where we’re thinking about summer weather and every single kid I know is counting down the days until school ends for the year, so this is a great challenge! Here’s my card that I created.

I knew right away that I wanted to used this adorable kitten in a unicorn floaty, so I created a watery background with Distress Oxide inks and put him on an action wobbler to give the recipient a little fun surprise when they opened the card. Who else is ready for summer?? I know I am! Join us and create with this challenge on the Your Next Stamp blog!

Your Next Stamp May Release Blog Hop!

Hi, everyone! I’m popping in today to share my card for the Your Next Stamp May release hop! The new release is live and it is so much fun. Be sure to check it out as well as the rest of this hop for a chance to win a great prize. Alright…here’s my card!

I used the cute Beautiful Butterflies stamp set to make this card. I took rainbow colors of my Copic markers and created this pattern paper with stripes. I didn’t try to make them straight, I liked the messy/irregular look they had. Then I stamped the sentiment from the set and the cute butterflies in black ink. I love the crisp black images against the colorful background. To finish it off I added some black gumdrops and my card was complete!

Be sure to use the coupon code when you place and order for the new release! And keep hopping  to see the rest of the teams inspiration!

I Miss Our Chats

Hello, all! I’m sharing a quick and easy card that is too cute! I used some of my favorite Heffy Doodle stamps for this fun design. Let’s jump right in.

The first step I took for this card was to take the speech bubble from Whatcha Sayin’ Now and stamped it all over an A2 size card base with a light mint colored ink. I did my best to space them out somewhat evenly so that it looked like pattern paper. The trick is to make sure that some of the bubbles are over the edge. This makes the pattern look continuous.

Next I stamped out a bird from the Wingman stamp set with a Copic friendly ink and colored him in. I fussy cut him out and adhered him to the card base with foam tape. The final step was to heat emboss my sentiment. I used Worn Lipstick to color some white paper with and made sure it was completely dry before embossing the sentiment over it. Once that was done I trimmed it down and adhered it with foam tape as well.

Finally, I added white gel pen accents and used a Copic marker to add some dots in the background. And that was it! I hope you enjoyed my quick and simple card for today. I love putting these types of cards together. Thanks so much for stopping by today! I’ll see you again soon with another card!
