Mint Owl Studio February Release

Good morning! It’s crazy to think that it’s already February. but here we are, February 2nd! That means there’s a Mint Owl Studio release coming fast. And even better news? I’ve got a release sneak peek for you today! Let’s get to it.

The set I’ll be using today has an awesome variety of sentiments in a fun and delicate font. It also has some cool patterns that will be great for a lot of techniques.

Here’s the card for today

I used the arrow pattern to create a continuous pattern for the background. I white heat embossed it and applied Twisted Citron, Cracked Pistachio, and Peacock Feathers Distress Ink with the mini ink blending tool. What’s great about this is the ink resists where the embossing is, so you’re left with a pretty gradient, but your pattern is still there.

wqeqweI die cut a balloon out of the background panel and created a shaker card with another new product debuting on February 5th for Mint Owl Studio, the Mint Owl Mix of sequins. It has light green and gray sequins with a beautiful iridescent sequin. I also added some iridescent star glitter. The background is  Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink, with water spots.

I used silver embossing powder for the sentiment and cut out a strip of black paper on an angle. The finishing touch was to add the string to the balloon!

I hope you guys like the card for today! This is going to be a really fun release. I can’t wait to show you more creations! Have a great day!
