Ink Road Stamps

Hi everyone! I’m so excited to be sharing some cards with you today that I made using the fun designs offered by Ink Road Stamps! When Lara contacted me asking if I’d like to put together some projects for a guest designer spot, I knew instantly I had to say yes 🙂 The cards I made for today show a handful of my favorite stamps.

Of course I had to use the adorable Meow Mix for some of the cards I made today. How could I resist??

I started by creating a pattern background with one of the kittens, and heat embossing a sentiment from The One With All the Stamps. Seriously, I combined two of my favorite things, Friends and cats. 🙂

Next I went with a much more simple design where I just stamped on of the cats in the center of a blank note card and added a sentiment from Compliments Volume 2. These sentiments are too funny. 042

I also added some Nuvo Crystal drops for a pop of color. For my next cards I used the amazingly gorgeous Bella Flora stamp set to create some very different cards. The first one I did some heat embossing with an ink blended background and copic colored flowers. My sentiment was also heat embossed. I just love these detailed flower bunches, and they look so great covering a card front!

The next card I made with this set is very similar in design, but completely different when it comes to technique. I stamped the flower bunches in black and used my gold watercolor paint to highlight some of the details on them. I also heat embossed a sentiment from Just a Number to go with the gold look.008

Finally, I used the Just a Number set on it’s own to make a cute birthday card. I stamped the balloons in an overlapping line with my Distress Oxides and heat embossed the outline over each one with gold embossing powder. I drew in strings with my ruler and stamped the sentiment at the top with black ink. A finishing touch was to add tons of Nuvo Drops in white to look like confetti.

And those are all my creations for today’s post! I hope you enjoyed them! I appreciate you stopping by today, and I hope you have a great rest of your day!
