dies, distress oxide, ink blending, stamping, your next stamp

Your Next Stamp Dare

Hi, all! Welcome back for June’s Design Team Dare with Your Next Stamp. Today we’ve made projects with the theme “Summer Fun.” It wasn’t difficult to think of ideas for today’s card, as I’ve been ready for summer for so long! So today I made a cute and simple card that you could whip up in no time.

I started by die cutting the largest Stitched Scalloped Rectangle die from white card stock. On it I stamped the sentiment from Heartfelt Sentiments “You are sunshine for my soul.” I love this sentiment and I think it’s so sweet to put on a card.

Next I die cut the sun and clouds from Stitched Happy Rainbow die set. I used a little Distress Ink to color the die cut images, and adhered them to the scalloped rectangle. The sun was adhered directly to the panel, but the clouds were adhered with foam tape. I decided the card needed a little more color so I die cut a stitched rectangle from bright yellow card stock and put it behind the scalloped die. And it was finished!

That’s it for my card for this challenge! I hope you enjoyed it! Be sure to head over to the Your Next Stamp blog to see the rest of the team’s projects as well as try for a chance to win a stamp set of your choice!

Thanks for stopping by and I’ll see you again soon with another card! 111
