Hi all! I’m running behind today, and am a little late to share my card for Your Next Stamp’s June Feature Day! Today the theme was Animal Antics and I was really excited to play along since Your Next Stamp’s animal sets are among my most favorite.
I started by die cutting a bunch of the pieces from the Confetti Die for a shaker card. I die cut from a piece of card stock that I had practiced some alcohol inks on. It was nice and bright and perfect for this use, even if I hadn’t been able to make it a card before! Then I used the Stitched Circle Frame Die to create the shaker window for my card. This circle frame is nice and wide and makes it so easy to make a shaker with!
Next I stamped two of the cute animals in presents by doing some masking so they could sit right next to each other. This meant I had to fussy cut them out (which I totally don’t mind doing!). They were adhered to the shaker window and any parts that hung over it were popped up with double foam tape so they don’t sag in the mail.
My sentiment was heat embossed on a small strip of black card stock with white embossing powder and it too was popped up with some foam tape. And that’s it for my card today! I hope you enjoyed. Be sure to head over to the Your Next Stamp blog and check out the fun prize you could win! Have a great Saturday, and I’ll see you again with another card soon 🙂
