Hey, everyone and happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend. I feel like the weekends go way too fast. It was just Friday a second ago wasn’t it?! One good thing about Mondays is that I get to share another Penguin Palace card with you all! And today’s card is so fun. Let’s jump in.
Today’s card is an interactive peek a boo card. The picture you see in the circle window changes as the recipient opens the card! How fun is that?! I watched how to do this technique from the amazing Jennifer McGuire, and I’ll link *here* if you’d like to see her video on the specifics of how to put it together. I followed her easy tutorial and came up with this fun card! On the front panel here I did some white heat embossing and colored the mermaid from Penguin Palace’s Pretty Mermaid Planner set with the mermaid on the treadmill.
When the recipient opens the card they see this message and the relaxing mermaid from the Take A Break stamp set. How fun is that?? This is perfect for someone who is always on the go or has a lot of things to juggle. We can all use a reminder to slow down every now and then, right?!
I really loved putting this card together, and I highly encourage you to try your hand at it as well! I spent a good five minutes just flipping the picture back and forth to see the change. Thanks so much for stopping by today to check out my card! I hope you enjoyed it. Be sure to head over to Penguin Palace to see all the awesome stamps and crafty products they sell! I’ll see you all again soon with another card 🙂
