Hi, everybody! Happy Thursday! Have you gotten over the excitement of Heffy Doodle’s first birthday and the awesome blog hop we had yesterday?? I know I haven’t! It got me right into the crafty mood, and I whipped up this card for today’s post. So many of the ladies in the hop yesterday used the Wingman set, I knew I needed to break it out and get inky 🙂
I started today’s card with one of my fave background masking techniques. I simply used washi tape to create a striped Distress Oxide background. I used Worn Lipstick, Carved Pumpkin and Squeezed Lemonade. Before I took of the tape I spritzed the paper with my Distress Sprayer. I set that aside to dry while I worked on the rest of my card.
Next I took the balloon stamp from Party Palooza and stamped it with VersaMark onto some Vellum. Then I used gold embossing powder to emboss them. Each one was die cut with the coordinating die and I attached a gold string with some tiny stripes of adhesive tape. Then I got the rest of my stamping and die cutting out of the way. I stamped the cute parrot from Wingman and colored him in with my copics. I also stamped and heat embossed a small Strips of Ease with part of one of the Everyday Sentiment Duos. To achieve this I simply masked off the top part of the stamp and only inked up the bottom. Using my Misti it made this super easy to do! I also die cut four Congrats dies from black paper and one from white. The white one I ink blended some Picked Raspberry and Worn Lipstick Distress Ink over, and glued them all together.
I adhered all of the vellum balloons down by carefully applying glue to where the embossing was. Then I twisted all of the strings together and taped them down where I was going to put the parrot. The parrot was popped up with foam tape. I adhered the Congrats die with a strong liquid glue so that it would be sure to stay in place even over the uneven surface of the balloons. The strip was put on with foam tape to keep some dimension.
And that’s it for my card today! I added a couple white gel pen accents, like usual, but it was pretty much complete at this point. Thanks so much for stopping by today, and I’ll see you again soon with another card!
Hi everyone and welcome to the Heffy Doodle Blog Hop!! If you’re just starting the hop here, be sure to head back to the beginning to get all the Heffy Doodle goodness from the other hoppers! We’re celebrating Heffy Doodle’s 1st birthday, and what better way than to have a bunch of crafty people to do what they do best and get crafty?! I’ve got a fun project to share with you, but be sure to read to the end for coupon codes and prize info.
I started today’s card by die cutting the Stitched Bubble Background die from some 110 lb card stock. I just love the detail of those stitched bubbles! They make the perfect detail, especially for an underwater card like I made for today. I used my Distress Oxide inks to ink blend some color over top. I used Peacock Feathers and Blueprint Sketch. Then I spritzed it with water to add more bubbly texture to the paper. I also die cut a stitched hillside from some white card stock and ink blended Antique Linen and Walnut Stain Distress Inks over it. I spritzed that as well, and set aside to dry.
Next I stamped out my pups from Yappy Mail, and the kitten from Mewniverse and got to work on altering the images so that they fit my underwater theme. I gave them little bubble helmets by tracing the inner circle of a circle die I have. Anything would do for this step really! The trick is getting something that is the right size. Once that was traced I colored them, and some of the images from Party Palooza in with my Copic markers. The party images I was able to cut out using the coordinating dies, but the animals were fussy cut due to the altered image. But it really didn’t take that long!
I adhered the sandy bank with a tape runner, and some of the images were popped up with foam tape for dimension. I made sure to leave enough room at the top for my sentiment. I die cut three of the Sending Dies and layered them on top of each other for dimension. Then I stamped a sentiment from Yappy Mail onto the smallest of the Strips of Ease die that I cut from some light blue card stock and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. Then it was time for some finishing touches!
I added white gel pen accents to the images, and glossy accents to their bubble helmets. I also added a ton of white Nuvo Crystal drops for more dimensional bubbles. I adhered the card panel onto a card base and the project was complete! I hope you enjoyed it!

Hi, all! It’s Cassie here, and I’m back to share another card featuring the new release products! I’m so excited to finally be sharing the new projects/products! We’ve been awaiting the new release reveal and I’m so happy it’s finally here. Today I’m using the new stamp set Oceans of Love.
I started the card for today by stamping out a bunch of the images from Oceans of Love. I colored them in with my Copic markers and then die cut them with the coordinating dies. I didn’t end up using all of the images I stamped and colored, but I just put those images in an envelope with my Heffy Doodle products because I can always use them later!
To create the cute focal point on the card I die cut the stripe heart die from an A2 size card panel. Then on my card base I ink blended Mermaid Lagoon and Blueprint Sketch so that it would show through. To finish my card I stamped the sentiment on the bottom in VersaMark ink and heat embossed some gray embossing powder over top. I adhered all of my images over the panel and adhered that to my card base-and my card was complete!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you enjoyed the card I made. What is your favorite new release product?? I don’t know if I can pick a favorite, but the Oceans of Love stamp set seriously comes close!
It’s time to Shellabrate! We’re getting closer and closer to release day for the new Heffy products, and we’re so excited for you crafty peeps to get your hands on these cute new goodies. I’m popping in today to remind you that if you pre-order and spend over 30 pounds, you’ll get the cute Shellabrate stamp set! (Spend over 45, and get the dies too).
So, it’s only fitting that because I’m reminding you about the set, that I made a card using the cute little turtle. Today, I’ve got a cute interactive card that makes use of a couple new stamps, actually. Here’s a look at my project.
I started today’s card by die cutting a balloon out of a piece of 110lb A2 size cardstock. Then I masked off stripes on the piece and ink blended Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide ink over the paper. I spritzed it with my Distress Sprayer and carefully took off the pieces of washi tape I used for the masking. This is exactly the same technique as when I make the Hello Squeekheart card last month. Next I took my card base and ink blended the same color over where the balloon was, so that you would see blue through the balloon cut out, and added some Blueprint Sketch to the edges.
I used my gold embossing powder and VersaMark ink to heat emboss my sentiment on the front of the balloon, and then stamped little pieces from Interactively Yours to show where the card opened. Then I scored the balloon and added adhesive to the fold so that it would fold upwards. I adhered the panel to the card base and the balloon to it as well. Then I stamped the turtle and some party images from Party Palooza for the turtle. They were all cut out with the coordinating die cuts.
I stamped “it’s your birthday inside the pop up with VersaMark and heat embossed white embossing powder over. I did the same with the little heart from the set so that it looked like bubbles. Then I added the turtle to the card with some tape runner along with his accessories.
To finish it off I added some little white gel pen dots to the water and some shimmer pen to the hearts. And that’s it for me today! I hope you enjoyed the card I created. What items have you pre-ordered already? Or what’s on your wishlist?
Have a great day, crafty friends! I’ll see you again soon with another card!

There are so many great products coming out this month at Your Next Stamp and one of my absolute favorites in the newest addition to the All Aboard collection. All Aboard has a cute train and carts and there have been so many add ons to this set. The new All Aboard Welcome Baby set does not disappoint! It’s got so many cute little images to make adorable scenes for your loved ones who are expecting.
Isn’t it adorable?? Here’s the card I made using this set. I decided I didn’t want to go with the typical soft colors that are normally used with baby cards, so I pulled out my Distress Oxides for a brighter pop of color and some masking.
You could make a long card with tons of carts full of baby stuff, or go with a A2 size like I did and shorted the train up a bit!
Another amazing stamp set coming with this release is the Countryside Cuties stamp set. It’s got some sweet little birdies and great options for a scene for them. Plus the font used in this set is AMAZINGLY adorable!
I just knew I had to have these birds in a scene with a bright and shiny background. So once again I had to pull out the Distress Oxide Ink for some masking!
This card has me wishing it felt more like spring here! I hope you enjoyed my portion of the hop. I loved making these cards, so it’s so fun to finally be able to share them 🙂 Be sure to make your comments by March 13th at midnight to be entered for that gift certificate, and check the YNS blog on 3/15 for the winner announcements.
Here’s a great coupon code to use while you’re shopping the new release!

Hello, everyone! Welcome to the Heffy Doodle blog hop! We’ve got so many great projects to share today and, of course, there is a great prize of a gift certificate to the shop! Hop along with us and leave some comments to enter. Alright…let’s get to my card!
If I haven’t said it before (although I’m pretty sure I have!) I love the new release! There’s so much you can do with it, and it all works so well together! I started out by die cutting the white panel, and the smaller framed piece from the Clover Frames Dies. I ink blended the inner part of the framed die piece so that it looked like the sky and grass. For the border, I ink blended some Fossilized Amber over it. On an A2 sized panel I also ink blended some of the Fossilized Amber so that it would make the scalloped corner die pop.
I also die cut the pop up window from the Clover Frames dies. I love all the interactive pieces in this die set. I adhered the scalloped corner die down to the A2 size panel making sure that the area above the pop up window was not glued down at all, so I could stick in a little surprise for the recipient! To make it crystal clear for who ever gets this cutie, I stamped “I have a surprise inside” and an arrow from the Interactively Yours stamp set. I also grabbed the sentiment from Honey Bunny Boo ” you’re eggstra special to me” and heat embossed it onto a shorten Stitched Strips of Ease.
To create my scene I stamped the cute little chickie, shell and hearts from Eggcellent News and colored them in with my Copics. I also stamped a word bubble with the sentiment “I think you’re great” inside it from the Whatcha Sayin’ stamp set. I die cut them all out using the coordinating dies-which makes things so easy! Then all I had to do was put things together!
I added everything on to my card base and used foam tape for some dimension. When all was said and done I love the interactive quality to it, and the bright fun colors! I hope you did too! Below are the links to all the other blogs to hop to! Remember to leave comments along the way to enter yourself to win that gift certificate. What’s your favorite new product from the release?? Have you seen anything so far that’s inspired you?

It’s preview day for Your Next Stamp, which means that the new release is literally hours away! So to celebrate-and give you a little preview-we’ve got projects to share with you! I’m getting so excited for all these spring themed sets, and this release has some great ones!
How cute is this!?!? I just love this little egg carton and the cute little pieces you can put in it. There is so many different characters you can put into the carton, and the sentiments are great for year round cards.
And, a bonus sneak peek, is the stitched Window Panel die! This is going to be a staple in my die collection. I can already tell!
I hope you’re getting excited for the new release! I know I’m excited to share more projects with you! Later today we’ll have a blog hop to kick off the new release, so I hope you’ll stop back to see more Your Next Stamp goodness!
Hello, everyone! I’ve been a little quiet around here lately, as life has been crazy, but today I’m back with another Heffy Doodle card!
There are a lot of people in my life who are starting or growing their families lately, and I wanted to use the new release products to create a cute baby card. It’s so easy with the sweet images and dies to do just that. Here’s a look at my card.
This simple card would be so easy to mass produce, and you could change the colors depending on who you were giving it to! I’m thinking I might head back to the craft room and make a small batch of these in different colors so that I can have them on hand for the future! I started by die cutting the Baby die from some 110 lb card stock. I made sure to save the little inner pieces of the word so that I could add them back later. Then I took my card base and ink blended some Distress Oxide ink in Worn Lipstick in the area that would be shown through the die cut word. I wanted it to look ombre, with darker more concentrated color at the bottom fading to lighter color at the top.
Next, I stamped and colored in two of the adorable bunnies from Honey Bunny Boo and die cut them with the coordinating dies. I also did some the carrots from the set. I love that the bigger bunny’s arm is cut out with it’s matching die so that I could tuck the carrot into his paw. You’ll find a lot of these kind of features with the different sets from release three! It really enhances the possibilities for creating! I die cut a grass strip and ink blended Lucky Clover and Twisted Citron onto it. That is my favorite color combo when I’m doing a grassy border. I adhered the grass and bunnies to the bottom of the card.
Finally, I stamped ‘welcome from the Eggcellent News stamp set just above the baby die with Versamark ink, and heat embossed gold embossing powder over it. That finished off my sentiment! I adhered the whole card panel to the card base and made sure to add in those inner parts of the word with some liquid glue.
That’s it for today’s card! I hope you enjoyed it! I’m in a spring mood, even though we have a good couple months before spring will start to show here in Minnesota. But I guess for now these sweet bunnies will have to do 🙂 Do you have spring fever yet? Thanks so much for stopping by, and I will see you again soon with another card!
Hello, crafty friends! I’m back today with a card for Your Next Stamp’s Design Team Dare. Today we were challenged to make a project that was inspired by the theme “share the love.” And how could I not use the cute new Silly Love Monster set for this project??
I started by making a Distress Oxide background with the colors Candied Apple and Worn Lipstick. I splattered the paper with clean water to get a more textured and bleached look. I die cut a speech bubble from the Talk Bubbles and Arrows die set from the distressed panel to make a mini shaker. Then I stamped the monster and colored him with my Copics. I trimmed him out and put my shaker together.
I trimmed down a piece of white card stock to stamp my sentiment on, and ground the monster. I heat embossed the sentiment with gold embossing powder and popped the little cutie on with foam tape. To finish off the card I die cut a heart from the Scripty Love die set and heat embossed it with gold embossing powder to match.
And that’s it for my card today! I hope you enjoyed this card based on the theme “share the love!” Have you started making any Valentines yet? I feel like I’m already behind, even though Valentine’s Day is only a month away. Have a great day, and I’ll see you again with another card!
Hi, crafty friends! Welcome to my portion of the blog hop for Your Next Stamp’s January release! It’s always fun to have a new release to celebrate, but this one is so fun it makes it even more exciting. There are so many fun new products coming out today, and I have just a small portion of projects to share with you of how you could use the new goodies!
One thing I’m especially excited about is the cute new Mini Heart Panel die. It’s so cute and tiny it is going to be perfect for Valentine’s Day cards.
Isn’t it soo sweet?? And you can use it with so many cute images from the release. Here I paired it with the cute little bear and hearts from the new All Aboard Love Train and a train cart from All Aboard Train Carts for him to sit in. There are so many cute things you can do with this die, and this is just one of the many! The other nice thing about it is that you don’t need to only use it for Valentine’s Day. It would be perfect for weddings, birthdays and so many other occasions.
Alright, next I’m sharing the sweet Beary Sweet set. This cute little panda bear is blowing bubbles, and I’m all for it! He’s soooo cute! And the other bears in the set are just as cute.
Normally we only have two projects to share with you on release day for the blog hop, but there’s one more product that I can’t go without mentioning. The new Cat Bookmark die and add ons are too sweet. They can be used as bookmarks or on cards and projects.
Aren’t they so fun?! When I saw them I knew I was going to be making bookmarks for everyone! But I also wanted to show how you could use them on a card.
How cute would something like this be to give as a birthday card with removable adhesive so the person you send it to could save the bunny as a bookmark? The possibilities are endless here! I can’t wait to keep playing with these dies.
And that’s it for my projects today! I hope you liked them. Don’t forget to leave a comment to be entered in the drawing for a YNS gift certificate on all the blog hop stops. You can get to the next stop by clicking the blue box below:
There’s also a coupon code for you to use on your new release order today! Don’t forget to enter it before checking out!
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you enjoyed the projects I had to share, and that you might get some inspiration from them. I’ll see you again soon with another card!
