Preview Day!

Good morning everyone! I’m so excited to be previewing some new products from the Your Next Stamp release. Today’s card is one of my favorite types to make. Halloween cards are so fun because they can have a lot of different styles- all the way from sweet and sugary-to spooky like today’s card!

Here’s the card:

Ok, ok…so those little bats aren’t that spooky. They’re kind of cute even 🙂 This little 4×4 card would be perfect to add to a treat bag for someone, or to hand deliver. I used the Batty Background Splatter stamp that is part of the new release, as well as the Fab-boo-lous, and So Corny  stamp set. All three are super cute. Here’s a closer look at them:

The card was really easy to make. I started by distress inking a background to look like a spooky sky. Then I stamped the bat cluster in the center of the sky. I stamped the sentiment from the So Corny set on a piece of water color paper and blended some orange distress ink on it as well. Then I added water splatters to give it a splotchy look. I colored my bats from the Fab-boo-lous set, and fussy cut them out. All that was left was to add it all to the card base!
