You’re Lovely

Good morning, everyone! Happy Monday! Er, well…I hope you’re having the happiest Monday you can anyways 🙂 I’m back with another Newton’s Nook card to share with you. Today I’m using the beautiful flowers from the Lovely Blooms set.

I started by stamping a bunch of the flowers and leaves on some Neenah Solar White card stock with some Momento Tuxed Black ink, because I wanted to color these in with my Copics. I cut all of the pieces out and set them aside while I worked on the other parts of my card. For one of the flowers I decided to make it a piece of wood instead of a flower. It is the one of the lower left side. I love that it gives a little versatility.

I die cut a couple pieces to really highlight my flower arrangement and glued them all together. I added all of the flowers with foam tape and stamped my sentiment from the Lovely Blooms set with some VersaMark ink on a banner cut from vellum. I love that the transparency of the vellum allows you to see the flowers beneath and doesn’t take away from them. To finish the card I added a couple Nuvo clear drops and some white gel pen accents.

That’s my card for today. I hope you enjoyed it! I just love the flowers in the Lovely Blooms set. The fun thing about them is all the different ways you can color and arrange them. I hope you have a great rest of your Monday! I’ll see you again with another card!
